Muse’s return to Glastonbury was heavy on material from current album ‘The Resistance’, but they threw in curveballs like ‘Nishe’, the B-side to 2000 single ‘Unintended’, and their traditional cover of ‘Feeling Good’, the song made famous by Nina Simone.

I absolutely love this 2001 gig, – it’s immense! What you’ll see below is Muse at their very best: no elaborate sets, no holding back, just pure undiluted rock and sweat. Bellamy literally ends up soaking wet by the end of the gig. Now, that’s true showmanship!

The whole set was not broadcast by MTV (they also played Citizen Erased, which I don’t have!), but the portion that’s available paints a pretty good picture of what took place that day.

Special CD/DVD package captures a live symphonic interpretation of Tankian's solo album Elect The Dead, performed by Tankian and The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra

On March 16th, 2009, Serj Tankian, a Grammy Award winner and one of rock's most unconventional front men, took the stage at the majestic Auckland Town Hall in New Zealand with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra to perform a very special orchestral interpretation of his critically acclaimed debut solo album Elect the Dead
